To withdraw money from Tikful, you request a withdrawal from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the minimum: $100, or $50 if you’re an academy student. The payment is sent in USDC, a digital dollar, to a crypto wallet or an exchange such as Binance, within 1 to 3 business days.
Payout methods
| Method | Currency | Timing | Keep in mind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crypto wallet or exchange, such as Binance | USDC | 1 to 3 business days | Check the address and the network before you confirm |
| PayPal | Local currency | To be confirmed | In development |
Withdrawal minimums
- Academy students: $50.
- Standard profile: $100.
The withdrawal button is enabled once your available balance reaches your minimum. Only balance from results that have already been validated counts: pending balance has to finish its review before you can withdraw it.
How to request a withdrawal, step by step
- Add your payout method. In «Ajustes de la cuenta» (Account settings), under «Métodos de pago» (Payment methods), paste the exact address of your wallet or your exchange account.
- Check your available balance. In your dashboard, make sure your available balance reaches your minimum.
- Request the withdrawal. Select «Solicitar retiro» (Request withdrawal), choose the method, enter the amount and confirm. You’ll get a transaction ID to track the payment.
Double-check the address
In crypto, a transfer to the wrong address or over a different network can’t be undone. Copy the address from your wallet or exchange instead of typing it by hand, and check that the network matches.
Timing and what to do if the payment doesn’t arrive
The 1 to 3 business days don’t count weekends or holidays. If the payment hasn’t shown up after the fourth business day, write to the Tikful team through the contact page and include your transaction ID.
Taxes
What you earn on Tikful is income, and in the US and the UK it’s taxable. Selling or converting your USDC later can be a separate taxable event. Our article on how to make money clipping videos covers US and UK taxes in more detail. This is general information, not tax advice: check your situation with a tax professional.
