For your views and subscribers to count, the account you post from has to be assigned to the campaign in Tikful Studio. You go to Campaigns, choose the creator’s profile, start as a clipper and enter the exact username of your Instagram account. The platform checks that the account is public, and from then on, whatever you post from it is tied to your profile.
Before you assign the account
- Read the campaign’s terms. They tell you which platforms you can post on and which requirements your account has to meet.
- Make the account public. If it’s private, the platform won’t be able to verify it.
- Identify it the way the campaign asks. If you dedicate it to the creator, make it clear in the name and the bio that it’s a fan account, not the official one. We explain how in the guide on creating an Instagram fan page.
How to assign it, step by step
- Open Tikful Studio from your Tikful dashboard.
- Select Campaigns and choose the profile of the campaign’s creator.
- Start as a clipper in that campaign. In the app, the clipper profile is labeled Reposter.
- Enter the exact username of your Instagram account, without the @ or any extra spaces.
- Confirm. The platform checks that the account exists, that it’s public and that it can take part in the campaign.
What happens next
| What changes | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| The account is tied to your profile | What you post from it counts for you in that campaign |
| No one else can claim it | Another clipper can’t assign that account to themselves while it’s yours |
| Its results add up in your dashboard | You see its views and subscribers in «Métricas por campaña» (Metrics by campaign) |
| It starts at level 1 | It moves up through the levels as it gains traffic and engagement |
From «Métricas por campaña» you can also ask the creator for help with the Ayuda (Help) button if Instagram suspends the account or asks for verification. The guide on opening a support ticket for a creator explains how.
Only post from assigned accounts
Anything you post from an account that isn’t assigned to the campaign doesn’t count toward your balance. Before you upload your first clip, check that the account appears in your dashboard.
If the campaign pays per subscriber, the next step is to add your link to your bio with a link-in-bio page. And to understand how each account progresses, read the guide on growth levels in Tikful Studio.
