This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the tikful.com website uses, what they’re for and how you can manage them. The Tikful platform (app.tikful.com) handles your data as explained in the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser to remember information between visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, do the same job and follow the same rules.
What tikful.com uses
tikful.com uses what it needs to work, Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them, and what you turn on yourself when you play a video. It doesn’t use advertising cookies:

Technical cookies don’t need your consent, because without them the website wouldn’t work or wouldn’t be secure. Neither does the language cookie, because it only stores what you choose. Google Analytics cookies do: they’re only set if you accept them in the notice. YouTube videos don’t load until you click to watch them.
If you haven’t chosen a language, the homepage (tikful.com) checks your browser’s language and, if it’s Spanish, takes you to the Spanish version. Nothing is stored for that.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to see how many people visit the website, which pages they view, what kind of device and country they visit from and where they come from (a search engine, a social network or another website), so we can improve it. It only loads if you accept its cookies in the notice; if you reject them, it doesn’t load. We don’t use its advertising features, and the data linked to its cookies is kept for 14 months.
Google may process this data in the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognizes as an adequate safeguard.
You can change your choice at any time in “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops measuring your visits and we delete its cookies from your browser.
How to block or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site data from your browser settings: in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari they’re in the privacy and security section. If you block Cloudflare’s technical cookies, the website may ask you to pass a security check or may not load properly.
Changes to this policy
If the cookies the website uses change, we’ll update this policy and its last updated date.
