Getting started

Why should you start on Tikful?

Reasons to start on Tikful: free sign-up, authorized content, USD payouts for results and a free academy. Plus what the platform asks of you in return.

Tikful teamUpdated

Tikful is a good fit if you want to earn money with short videos without filming your own content or investing anything to start. Creators provide the material and the budget for each campaign; you bring the editing, the posting and the consistency.

Before you sign up, it’s also worth knowing what it asks of you, because that’s what decides whether your clips count.

Reasons to start

  • You don’t pay anything. Signing up, joining campaigns and training at the academy are free. Be wary of anyone who asks you for money to get you into Tikful campaigns.
  • You don’t have to create content. You work with material that creators have already authorized, so you can focus on picking the best moments and editing them well.
  • USD payouts for results. Depending on the campaign, you’re paid per 1,000 valid views or per new subscriber. You withdraw your validated balance in USDC, a digital dollar, to a crypto wallet or an exchange, within 1 to 3 business days.
  • You can learn from scratch. The free academy has instructors and, as long as you keep attending, it improves your terms: 25% more per valid view and 15% more per subscriber. For now, its classes are taught in Spanish.
  • You can see your numbers. In Tikful Studio, you can check each assigned account, its views, its level and the rates that apply to it.

What Tikful is not

Tikful isn’t a fixed salary or a guaranteed income. What you earn depends on each campaign’s rate, the results that get validated, the available budget and the caps the creator sets. Some clips earn nothing, and posting more doesn’t pay off if the videos don’t meet the terms.

If you want to run the numbers before you start, try the clipping earnings calculator with the rates of the campaign you’re interested in.

How to take the first step

  1. Create your free Tikful account as a clipper.
  2. Decide whether to join the free online academy, taught in Spanish for now; it’s best to do it from the start.
  3. Pick a campaign, read its terms and assign your account in Tikful Studio.
